When it was announced at the BlackBerry live that BBM Channels were going to Android and iOS there was some mixed feelings. After it had sunked in there was a positive feeling as many users who had moved over to either Android or the iOS platforms. It will allow them to keep in touch or should I say renew acquaintances before they moved on. It’s not that I don’t like the idea, I just wasn’t ready to share. I love BBM and how we in the BlackBerry community communicate with it. But as with all of us, we support BlackBerry and take pride our devices, so let’s show our pride and share the news with others.                                 NVIDIA had its moment to shine earlier in the week, and Qualcomm had its own announcements to make for 2013. Now, Samsung’s looking to turn things up a notch with its own Exynos series of chipsets. Samsung has announced the Exynos5, an octa-core chipset that makes use of some pretty interesting techniques to provide optimal battery life while delivering best-in-class performance.                The chipset features two quad-core SoCs, with one being an ARM Cortex-A15 based implementation clocked at 1.8GHz, while the other is an ARM Cortex-A7 implementation at 1.2GHz. The former will be used for the usual CPU-intensive tasks such as gaming, web browsing, HD video playback and more. Nokia has been teasing the Lumia 920 left, right and center. It has done so on its Facebook page quite loudly and even some of their ‘Priority Retailers’ have started taking pre-orders for the device which is yet to be officially launched in India. Earlier in the week we reported the Lumia 920 would arrive by January 14 and today we have received yet another hint in the form of a mail from Nokia India, which states the Lumia 920 is coming soon. Of course, this rather cements the notion that the Lumia 920 is coming sooner than later. The mail on the face of it is not exceptional, but is rather a mail we suspect Nokia has sent out to all of its registered OVI store users in India, which also includes us. So saddle up, because the Lumia 920 could be coming to India very soon.
